First Impressions PR was established in 2010 by Conor Leeson, a senior Communications & PR professional with a unique combination of high-level, multi-disciplinary experience across a number of key roles in Ireland and abroad.
Conor has a wide range of PR expertise and skills that were developed and honed over a period of 25 years in both the private and public sectors in Dublin and Brussels.
From 2006-2009, he served as Head of Communications at the National Centre for Partnership & Performance (NCPP), an Irish government agency established under the aegis of the Department of the Taoiseach to promote workplace innovation through partnership.
Prior to this, Conor was Corporate Communications Manager of Euroclear SA/NV, a blue-chip financial services company headquartered in Brussels (1999-2006).
In 1998-1999, he worked as a Communications Officer at the European Commission (Directorate General for Employment & Social Affairs).
Previously, Conor was Assistant Director of the Irish Business Bureau in Brussels, the joint representative office of the Irish Business & Employers Confederation and the Chambers of Commerce of Ireland (1990-1998). Specialising in the field of public affairs, he monitored, analysed, reported and lobbied on a wide range of EU legislative and policy initiatives impacting on Irish business interests.
In all, Conor spent 16 years in Brussels and is a fluent French speaker.
Conor is an honours graduate of both University College Dublin and the College of Europe, Bruges (Belgium).
